As you have looked at the resources available here at the PCA Historical Center, you may be considering a visit to the Center in order to take a closer look at particular documents.. We welcome your visit. For the most effective use of your time, do please call ahead and let us know of your planned visit. This allows us to better understand your research needs, to have materials ready when you arrive, and to answer any questions that you may have about your visit to the Historical Center. You may also find it helpful to prepare for your visit by reading the brochure Researching the Archive: An Introduction to Its Resources. Any additional questions should be directed to the Center's staff.

Hours of Operation:
Please note:
Our facility is typically open from 9 AM to 4 PM, though these hours may be subject to change without notice. Directions:
The PCA Historical Center is located in the city of St. Louis, Missouri, on the campus of Covenant
Theological Seminary. The campus is the northwest quadrant of the intersection of Highway 40 and Highway 270. The correct mailing address for the Center is 478 Covenant Lane, St. Louis, MO 63141.

From I-64/40, take the Ballas and proceed north on Ballas a short distance, moving quickly to the left-turn lane at the intersection of Ballas and Conway. Make a left turn onto Conway and proceed west under the I-270 overpass and turn left onto the North Outer 40 service road, which runs along one border of the Seminary campus.

The entrance to the Seminary campus will be the first entrance on your right. Proceed up the incline as you drive onto the campus. Visitor parking will be in the lot to your left. Additional parking is found to the right of the entrance road, along an interior service road.

The PCA Historical Center is located on the lower level of the J. Oliver Buswell, Jr. Library. The Library building will be the large brick building that you see as you enter the campus, or if in doubt, just follow the campus signs to the Buswell Library. Entering the Library, both stair and elevator access to the lower level will be found in the interior lobby that forms the Library's checkout area.

Accomodations [updated information, as of December 2008]:
You can find a number of hotels in the immediate area by accessing the internet. We will be glad to help with this search if you need assistance.  In addition, there are a few rooms available on the Seminary campus, charged at a nominal rate. Please note however that the Seminary gives priority to visiting prospective students, so please check to confirm availability. For those rooms on campus, reservations can be only be confirmed within two days of your arrival.

The Seminary campus does not have a cafeteria, but does have a small coffee area with vending machines in the student community center.  The campus is located within walking distance of a nearby hospital, which does have ample cafeteria facilities available at any hour of the day.
