First Reformed Presbyterian Church was organized in 1799, with the Rev. John Black serving as the first pastor, 1800-1849. The church became part of the PCA in 1982.
Recently the Session of First Reformed made the decision to place their earlier Session Minutes at the PCA Historical Center for preservation. As a service to this church, work is underway to scan these early Minute Books, to facilitate access to their invaluable historical records. See these related resources:
