Jeanne Taber Patterson

| Mrs. Jeanne Taber Patterson, age 86, passed away Monday, November 2, 2009 in Ridgeland, South Carolina. Mrs. Patterson was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 5, 1923 to the late Paul Hoag and Edna Maltbie Taber. She graduated from Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood, NJ., Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL and Hackensack Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Patterson was a faithful Presbyterian and was a teacher of the Bible throughout her lifetime. She was an author and writer of four published Bible study guides. She taught Sunday School at First Presbyterian Church as well as Explorer's Bible Study in Jackson for five years. She also traveled around the world with her husband ministering to missionaries. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Donald Bray Patterson [1923-1998]. |
